Becoming a Lobbyist

I want to know about, how to become a lobbyist, where do I sign up. Or do I just go to people and Companys, and talk to them about my interest and knownledge with they company; and tell them i'll take it to the politicians, and voice they concerns and interest in a bill, that they want pasted. Or what shouild I do first to get the ball, rolling.
